Last
week I wrote a post about my favourite triple chocolate Hershey’s Cookies and Crème
brownies. This week my boyfriend is coming to stay so I thought I would make
some of his favourite brownies (white chocolate blondies).
Serves
8
Ingredients
200g
plain flour
125g
butter
150g
white chocolate
2
eggs
150g
caster sugar
1
tsp vanilla extract
Handful
of milk chocolate chips
Handful
of white chocolate chips
Method
1. Preheat
the oven to 180 degrees/Gas mark 4. Grease square baking tin.
2. Melt
the butter and chocolate together. (Helpful hint – break the butter up into
smaller slices before you melt it!).
3. Add
caster sugar and stir thoroughly.
4. Add
vanilla extract.
5. Whisk
in 2 eggs, stirring vigorously.
6. Sieve
in 200g plain flour – this will ensure you reduce any unwanted lumps in the
mixture.
7. Add
handful of milk chocolate and white chocolate chips and stir gently.
8. Spoon
into pre greased baking tin.
9. Bake
for approximately 30 minutes until golden brown on top but still squishy in the
middle!
